• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL
SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 33369 ACCEPTING AN
AGREEMENT BY THE SUBDIVIDER AND SURETY BONDS TO
SECURE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by the
owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract
No. 33369 which has been approved by the Planning Commission and
by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a pro-
posed agreement by the subdivider for the construction of cer-
tain improvements within -or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by surety
bonds for the faithful performance of the terms and conditions
of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of Tract No.
33369 submitted to this meeting be and the same is hereby approved.
• SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered by and the
same is hereby accepted for public use subject to any restriction
to be filed and recorded therewith; and that the proper officers of
the City of West Covina be and they are hereby authorized and in-
structed to approve said.final map on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the subdivider in
the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the Letter of Credit presented as security
for the faithful performance the terms and conditions of said
agreement with Novarro Construction Company, as principal, and
Lloyds Bank, 100 South Garfield Avenue, Alhambra, California, as
surety, in the total sum of One Hundred Thirty -Seven Thousand
Dollars ($137,000.00), be and the same hereby are accepted.
SECTION 5. That the covenants, conditions and restrictions
for Tract No. 33369 be recorded prior to the recordation of Tract
Map No. 33369.
SECTION 6. -That Tract No.:3.3369-be.granted a six-month
extension for a termination date of April 20, 1980.
SECTION 7. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
