• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 1 OF RESOLUTION
NO. 5452 RELATING TO THE TIME'AND METHOD OF OPENING
BIDS FOR PUBLIC WORKS PROJECTS AND SPECIFYING THE
PROCEDURE TO BE FOLLOWED IN CONNECTION WITH BID.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1 of Resolution No. 5452 is hereby amended
as follows:
"SECTION 1. Whenever sealed proposals for bids are requested
by the City Council for any public works project,
such proposals or bids shall be delivered to the
City Clerk who shall publicly open, examine and
declare the same at the office of the City Clerk
in the City Hall, West Covina, California, upon
the day and at the time specified in the Notice
Inviting Bids, which shall be only during normal
business hours. After the opening of such bids,
the City Clerk shall deliver the bid documents to
the department responsible for the administration
of the contract for analysis and the preparation
• of a report and recommendation to the City Council."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
