A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA,'FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY
TO BE RAISED BY THE ASSESSMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
BEGINNING JULY 1, 1979, FOR WOODSIDE VILLAGE MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT NO.c2, CITY OF WEST COVINA, AND FIXING RATES OF
ASSESSMENT FOR SAID MAINTENANCE DISTRICT AND LEVYING THE
ASSESSMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1979
• FOR SAID MAINTENANCE DISTRICT.
The`City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
fol lows:
SECTION 1. As applicable, the assessments levied on real
property are exempt from the application of Article 13A, Section 1(A)
of Constitution of the State of California and are levied for the
benefit of the residents of that district.
SECTION 2. The amount of money necessary to be raised by the
assessment upon the property within Woddsi;de Village Maintenance District
No. 2, City of West Covina, for the current fiscal year beginning July
1, 1979, is hereby fixed as follows:
For the cost of maintaining and operating the open space, improve-
ments and facilities thereon within the Woodside Village Maintenance District
No. 2, City of West Covina: $50,341
SECTION 3. For the purpose of raising the sums of money necessary
to be raised by the assessment upon the taxable real property within Woodside
Village Maintenance District No.:2, City of West Covina as revenue to
maintain and operate the open space, improvements and facilities within
said maintenance district, the rate is hereby fixed and assessments are
hereby levied on all taxable real property in the said Maintenance District
• for the fiscal year beginning July,l, 1979, in the number of cents upon
One Hundred Dollars of the assessed value of said taxable real property
as assessed by the County Assessor and equalized by the Assessment Appeals
Board of the County of Los Angeles,. a.nd'w1th respect to certain property
as assessed by the State Board of Equalization and equalized by said Board
as follows:

Tax Rate ............................ $0.7500 per hundred dollars
No separate assessment is being levied upon the taxable property
within any zone in Woodside Village Maintenance District No. 2 for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1979, and no money is being raised to finance special
services within any such zone.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and the same shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
adoption. The said Clerkshall immediately after the adoption of this
Resolution cause a certified copy thereof to be filed with the Auditor -
Controller of the County of Los Angeles. In accordance with Section 36936.1
of the Government Code, the City Clerk shall cause publication of this Reso-
lution in the same manner and within the same time as ordinances are required
to be published.
