RESOLUTION NO. 5971
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CLASS SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CLASS
OF EQUIPMENT MECHANIC LEADWORKER AND AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 5952 CONTAINING THE LIST OF AUTHORIZED POSITIONS AND
AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION NO. 5953 RELATING TO THE
CITY'S BASIC PAY RANGE STRUCTURE.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Personnel Board, the
class specification for the class of Equipment Mechanic Leadworker, attached
hereto and.marked Exhibit A, and by this reference incorporated herein, are
hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. Resolution No. 5952 containing the List of Authorized
Positions is hereby amended by:
(a) Deleting one position of Heavy Duty Mechanic in the Maintenance
Department; and
(b) Adding one position of Equipment Mechanic Leadworker in the
Maintenance Department.
SECTION 3. Section 3 of Resolution No. 5953 relating to the City's
Basic Pay Range Structure rate of compensation for the classified service is
hereby amended by:
