A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
• CITY OF WEST COVINA ADOPTING THE 1979
EDITION OF THE STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS
FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the Standard Specifications for Public Works
Construction, 1979 Edition, written and promulgated by the Joint
Committee of the Southern'California Chapter of the American Public
Works Association (APWA) and the Associated General Contractors of
America (AGC) and
WHEREAS;'three-copies of the aforemention Standard
Specifications for Public Works Construction have been filed in
the office of the;City Clerk of the City of West Covina and
WHEREAS, said Standard Specifications apply to all
public works construction performed in the City of West -Covina.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS�FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Standard Specifications for Public
Works Construction, 1979 Edition, as heretofore mentioned, are here-
by adopted into for use in public works construction by the City of
West Covina.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney is hereby instructed to
• prepare the necessary amendments to the Municipal Code and correct
the references from the 1976 Edition of the Standard Specifications
for Public Works Construction to the current Edition of the Standard
Specifications for Public Works Construction.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this Resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was
duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of July 1979,
by the following vote of the Council:
