A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
• WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PROGRAM
SUPPLEMENT NO. 6 TO LOCAL AGENCY -STATE AGREEMENT
N0: 07-5259 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAME.
WHEREAS,_the City of West Covina and the State of California
have entered into Local Agency -State Agreement No. 07-5259 for the
purpose of expending Federal funds within the city of West Covina;
and
WHEREAS, the City desires to construct a traffic signal at
the intersection of Amar Road and Temple Avenue within the city of
West Covina pursuant to the Federal Aid Highway Act of 1976; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to execute a Program Supplement in
order to implement said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina does
hereby approve Supplement No. 6 to Local Agency -State Agreement
No. 07-5259 and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute said
Program Supplement No. 6.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk of the City of West Covina shall
certify to the adoption of this resolution and is hereby directed to
transmit.a certified copy thereof with the Program Supplement No. 6
to the California Department of Transportation, District 7.
