A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST-
• COVINA,'CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE CITY
ENGINEER OF SAID CITY MADE PURSUANT TO THE REQUIRE-
MENTS OF RESOLUTION NO. 5868 OF SAID COUNCIL.
WEST COVINA WOODSIDE VILLAGE LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE•:
DISTRICTN0. 4.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California, did in
Resolution No.. 5868, adopted February 28, 1979, pursuant to the provisions of
the �"Landscaping aInd' Li ght i ng Act of 197211, of:-t.he State of California (Part 2
of Division 15.of the ,Streets and Highways Code of said State), require the
City Engineer to make=and file with the Clerk of the City Council a report in
writing, pres:eoting certain matters relating to the proposed maintenance of
existing landscaping in designated areas; replacement and modification of said
landscaping when necessary within said District, as contemplated under the pro-
v.is,ions,of said "Landscaping and, Lighting Act of 1972"; and
WHEREAS, said City Engineer, pursuant to the;requi;rements of said City
Council as expressed in Resolution No. 5868, and ;o.f.sa.id.law, did make and on
the27th day of APX2il 1979, file in the offi�ee of,, the City Clerk (who
is ex-officio Clerk of the City Council) of said Ci.ty, h`is report in writing
.responsive to the requi.rements.of.said Resolution No. 5868 and of said law
referred to in said Resolution No. 5868 and as contemplaed under the provisions
of said "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972"; and
WHEREAS, said City Clerk has presented the said report to the City Council
of said City, and said Council has proceeded to carefully examine, inspect and
consider the said report and has afforded all persons interested an opportunity
to be.heard:with reference thereto, and is satisfied with said report and with .
each and all of the items therein set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF WEST COVINA,' CALIFORNIA,
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the report of the City Engineer of the City of West Covina,
California, bearing date the27th day of April , 1979, which said report
was prepared and filed pursuant to the requirements of the provisions of
Resolution No. 5868 of the City Council of said City, and in conformity with the
provisions of the "Landscaping and Lighting Act of 19721, of the State of
California (Part 2 of Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code of said
State), and which said report was filed in the office of :;the City Clerk (who is
ex-officio Clerk of the City Council) of the City of West Covina, California,
on the 27th day of Apr, it 1979, be and the same is hereby approved as
so prepared, presented and filed.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of",this resolution,; shall cause the same to be entered among the original
resolutions of the City Council of said`C,it'yand shall make a minute of the
passage and adoption thereof in the .•r.ecords'of the proceedings of the City
Council of said City in the minutes of the meeting at which the same is passed
and adopted.
