A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY.CLERK TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT
• IN FAVOR OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY
FOR UTILITY PURPOSES.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION l.- The City Council of the City of West Covina does
hereby find and determine that the public convenience and necessity
require that a Grant -.of Easement be executed in favor of Southern
California Edison Company for utility purposes over certain City -
owned property as described in the attached Exhibit "A" and by
reference hereto.made a part hereof.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
and instructed.to execute.in the name of the City of West Covina a
Grant of Easement; substantially in the form attached, in favor of
Southern California Edison Company for utility purposes.
SECTION I. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.

• Two strips of land lying within a portion of Parcel 1 of Record of Survey, as per

map recorded in Book 85, pages 10 through 12 inclusive of Records of Surveys, in the
Office of the Recorder of said County; the northwesterly line of said strip being
described as follows:
STRIP NO. 1: 10 feet wide:
Commencing at a point in the easterly line of said Parcel 1, being the westerly line
of Azusa Avenue, distant thereon South 34° 51' 56" West 189.64 feet from the most
northeasterly corner thereof; thence along said easterly line, South 34° 51, 56" West
172.15 feet and southwesterly along a tangent curve concave southeasterly with a radius
of 2555.00 feet a distance of 85.00 feet through a central angle of 1° 54' 22"; thence
radial to said curve North 57" 02' 26" West,201.53 feet; thence North 340 51' 56" East
263.50 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence South 34° 51' 56" West, a distance
of 28 feet, to a point being hereinafter referred to as Point "A".
STRIP NO. 2: 6 feet wide:
Beginning at the above mentioned Point "A"; thence continuing South 34° 51' 56" West,
a distance of 235.50 feet.
