RESOLUTION NO. 5874
A'RESOLUTION'OF.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY
OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION
`MAP OF TRACT -NO. 34895 ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT
BY THE SUBDIVIDER.AND SURETY BONDS TO SECURE
THE SAME..
WHEREAS,M`there has been submitted to,this meeting by the
owner and subdivider thereof.,, a final subdivision map of Tract
No. 34895 which.hasbeen approve'd by the Planning Commission and
by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a
proposed agreement by the subdivider for the construction of
certain improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is.accompanied by
surety bonds for the faithful,performance of the terms and condi-
tions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION l.. That the final subdivision map of Tract No.
34895 submitted to this meeting be and the same is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered be and the
same is hereby accepted for public use excepting the offer to grant
Lot 83 subject to any restriction to be filed and recorded therewith;
and that the proper officers of the City of West Covina be and they
are hereby authorized and instructed to approve said final map on
behalf of the City.
. SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the subdivider
in the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the assignment of a timed Certificate of
Deposit, No. 433853 presented as security for the faithful perform-
ance the terms and conditions of said agreement with Ridgewood
Associates, Ltd., as principal and Bank of America - Whittier Branch,
as surety, in the total sum of two hundred thirty thousand, five
hundred dollars ($230,600), be and the same hereby are accepted.
'SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption. of this resolution:
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 12th day of March ,
1979.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution
No. 5874 was adopted by the City Council of the City of
West Covina at a regular meeting thereof held on the 12th
day of March , 1979 by the following vote of Council.
AYES: Councilmen: Miller, Shearer, Browne, Chappell, Tice.
NOES: Councilmen: None
