A RESOLUTION :OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING COVENANT AND
• AGREEMENT TO PAY ONE-FOURTH OF THE TOTAL COST,
NOT TO EXCEED.$20,000 FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
TRAFFIC SIGNALS' AT •AZUSA -AVENUE AND EAST .GARVEY
AVENUE NORTH, EXECUTED BY CHARLES R. CRICKS AND
DORIS L.-CRICKS, AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION
THEREOF.'
The .City Council of the City of' West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION�l. The interest conveyed by that certain instrument
executed by Charles R. Cricks and Doris L. Cricks under date of
February 8, 1979, coven=to.the City of -West Covina'the property
or interest therein particularly described for partial payment of
traffic signals,Is hereby accepted. Said property is generally
described as:
A portion of Lot 8 in Block 29 of Phillips Tract in
the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 9, Pages
3 and 4 of Miscellaneous Records on file in the office
of the County Recorder of said County, together with
portions of Lots 84, 85 and 290, all of Tract No.
16472 per map book 381,' pages 14, 15 and 16 of maps
on file in the office of said County Recorder.
• SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to execute a certificate of acceptance in substantially the form
prescribed by Section 27281 of the Government Code and to cause
the said instrument and said certificate to be filed for record
in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
