A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, MAKING
EFFECTIVE ANY INSURANCE BENEFITS RETRO-
ACTION JANUARY 1, 1979.
WHEREAS, the City has .been meeting and conferring
with representatives of the S.E.I.U. concerning, among other
things, compensation of those City employees represented by
the S. E. I. U. ; and
WHEREAS, said meet and confer discussions':h-a.ving
included, among other things, the subject of an increase in
health insurance benefits to be paid by the City; and
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina. does hereby resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is the intent of the City Council
to make effective any change or any increa.se in insurance
benefits provided by the City to be.retroactive to January 1,
1979.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk.will certify the
adoption of this Resolution.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of January, 1979.
