A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, CONFIRMING THE
APPOINTMENT OF BARBARA BRILEY AS A DEPUTY
CITY CLERK AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION THEREFOR.
• WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of the Government
Code, the City Clerk has appointed Barbara Briley as a. Deputy
City Clerk.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina. does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The appointment of Barbara Briley as a.
Deputy City Clerk is hereby confirmed. The appointment shall
be on a part-time basis and shall be in addition to her regular
duties as an employee of the City of West Covina.. The appoint-
ment shall be on a temporary basis and shall terminate on
April 30, 1979.
SECTION 2. Barbara. Briley shall be compensated at
the rate of $50.00 per month for all services performed by her
as a. Deputy City Clerk.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
