RESOLUTION NO. 5854
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO APPLY FOR GRANT FUNDS PURSUANT
TO THE FEDERAL HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1977
AND CERTIFYING AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT PREPARED 14ITH
REFERENCE TO PROJECTS PROPOSED IN THE APPLICATION
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West Covina hereby
declares its intention to apply for Federal Grant funds for 1979-80
program year pursuant to the provisions of the United States Housing..
and Community Development Act of 1977 and authorizes the City Manager
to proceed with the filing of the necessary application and certifications
with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
SECTION 2. An Environmental Impact Report prepared with reference
to projects proposed in the 1979-80 application is hereby approved
and certified.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
