A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA RELINQUISHING ENFORCEMENT OF THE STATE
• MOBILEHOME LAW TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
WHEREAS, on the.14th day of May, 1962, the City of West
Covina, by Resolution No. 2374 accepted enforcement of laws
relating to mobilehome park laws, and
WHEREAS, the Mobilehome Park Law does not provide for
interpretation by a local enforcement agency, nor permit increases
of fees to adequately pay the costs of enforcement.
SECTION 1. On this '8th day of January , 1979,
the City Council of the City of West Covina, acting in City Council
session does cancel its assumption of responsibility for Part 2.1,
Division 13 of the Health and Safety Code•and requests the Depart-
ment of Housing and Community Development, State of California,
to assume such responsibilities in accordance with Section 18300 of
said Part.

SECTION 2. The/City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and;shall transmit a'.certified copy thereof to
the Division of'Housing-of the State'of California.
