A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE FINAL SUB-
DIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 32281 ACCEPTING AN
AGREEMENT BY THE SUBDIVIDER AND SURETY BONDS TO
SECURE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by the
owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract
No.32281 which has been approved by the Planning Commission and by
the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a proposed
agreement by the subdivider for the construction of certain improve-
ments within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by surety
bonds for the faithful performance of the terms and conditions of
said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That a final subdivision map of Tract No. 32281
submitted tothi-s meeting be and the same is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. .That the dedication therein offered by and the
same is hereby accepted for public use excepting the offer to
• grant Lots 42, 43, 44 and 45 subject to any restriction to be filed
and recorded therewith; and that the proper officers of the City of
West Covina be and they are hereby authorized and instructed to
approve said final map on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the subdivider in
the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the Surety Bonds Nos. 8ST'341 665,.
8ST 341 673 and 8ST 341 674 presented as security for the faithful
of
performance the terms and conditions of said agreement with W & A
Builders, Inc., as principal and Lumberman°s Mutual Casualty Company
as surety, in the total sum of Two Hundred Twenty-six Thousand Four
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($226,450.00), be and the same hereby are
accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
