A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CORPORA-
TION GRANT DEED EXECUTED BY SOUTHWEST SUBURBAN
WATER AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF_.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTION 1. The interest conveyed by the certain instrument
executed by Southwest Suburban Water, under date of September 7, 1978,
granting to the City.of West Covina the property or interest therein
as particularly described is hereby accepted. Said property is des-
cribed as:
A portion of Lot 89, of E. J. Baldwin's Second Sub-
division of part of the Rancho La Puente, in the
city of West Covina, county of Los Angeles, state
of California, as shown on map recorded in Book 7,
Page 7 of maps -on file in the office of the County
Recorder of said county.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to execute a certificate of acceptance in substantially the form pre-
scribed by Section 27281 of the Government Code and to cause the said
instrument and said certificate to be filed for record in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
• this resolution.
