A RESOLUTIION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CORP-
ORATION GRANT DEED EXECUTED BY THE MAY STORES
SHOPPING CENTERS, INC., AND DIRECTING THE RE-
CORDATION THEREOF.
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The interest conveyed by that certain in-
strument executed by The May Stores Shopping -Centers, Inc., under
date of October 18, 1978, granting to the City of West Covina the
property or interest therein as particularly described is hereby
accepted. Said property is described as:
A portion of Lot 4, Block 26 and a portion of Citrus
Street, both of the Phillips Tract, in the City of
West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of Calif-
ornia, as shown on map recorded in Book 9, Pages 3
and 4 of miscellaneous records on file in the office
=of the County Recorder of said County.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and dir-
ected to execute a certificate of acceptance in substantially
the form prescribed by Section 27281 of the Government Code and to
cause the said instrument and said certificate to be filed for
record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los
Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
