A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA APPOINTING COLIN
LENNARD CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Colin Lennard of the law firm of Burke, Williams and Sorensen,
who was previously appointed Interim City Attorney by action of the City Council on
April 24, 1978, Resolution No. 5683, is hereby appointed City Attorney of the City
of West Covina, commencing on August 1, 1978.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney shall be paid a -retainer of $1,900 per
month. This retainer shall cover a total of 30 hours of City Attorney services
per month. These services shall include one-half day per week spent in the West
Covina City Hall, attendance at two City Council meetings per month, and the
handling of routine City matters at the City Attorney's downtown office for the
remainder of the 30 hours. The proposal as submitted by Mr. Lennard on behalf of
Burke, Williams & Sorensen on July 12, 1978 is approved and accepted and incorporated
herein by reference.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
