RESOLUTION' -NO . 5746
A RESOLUTION OF'THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA CONFIRMING THE REPORT OF THE STREET
SUPERINTENDENT DATED JULY 19, 1978, MADE PUR-
SUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE,
CHAPTER 13, ARTICLE 2, SECTIONS 39574 THROUGH
39576.5 LEVYING THE ASSESSMENTS FOR THE WEED
AND RUBBISH ABATEMENT PROGRAM FOR 1978.
WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent's report for the Weed
and Rubbish Abatement Program throughout the city, pursuant to
Resolution No. 5510 was posted on July 19, 1978; and
WHEREAS, all proceedings in connection therewith have been
in accordance with law; and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing on said report, which hearing
was held on July 24, 1978, there were no objections, protests, or
appeals:
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL'OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA.
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the Street Superintendent's report levying
the assessments for the 1978 Weed and Rubbish Abatement Program be,
and the same hereby is, confirmed and approved.
Section-2. That the Street Superintendent shall forthwith
attach{ a warrant.bearing the date of this order to said report.
Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution,,'and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
