A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR
PLUMBING PERMITS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A fee for each plumbing permit shall be paid to
the Building Official as set forth in the following Schedule of
Fees:

Forissuing each permit ........................................... $ 7.00
For each plumbing fixture or trap or set of fixtures on one trap
(including water, drainage piping and backflow protection
therefore........................................................ 3.50

each private sewage disposal system ..........................

For
each water heater and/or,vent.... ..........................

For
each gas piping system of one ,(1) to five (5) outlets........

each gas piping system of six (6) or more, per outlets.......

each industrial waste pre-treatment interceptor, including
its
trap and vent, excepting:kitchen"type grease interceptors
functioning as fixture traps .....................................

For
installation, alteration or repair of water piping and/or
watertreatment equipment ........................................

For
repair or alteration of drainage ,or vent piping ..............
3.50
For
each lawn sprinkler system on any one meter including backflow
protection devices on tanks, vats, etc., one (1) to five (5).....

For vacuum breakers or backflow protective devices on tanks, vats,
etc., one (1) to five(5)........................................ 3.50
Over five (5), each .............................................. 1.00
For swimming pool piping, including water supply piping, backflow
prevention devices, drainage piping, but excluding pool water
• heaters or gas piping ........................... 10.00
SECTION 2. Where additional inspections are made necessary
due:to work not being ready at the time specified or due to work
not corrected after prior written correction notice, an additional
fee of $20.00 may be required by the Building Official prior to
reinspection.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
