RESOLUTION NO. 5716
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, ADOPTING A SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR BUILDING
PERMITS AND SERVICES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. A fee for each building permit or service shall
be paid to the Building Official as set forth in the following
schedule of Fees:
Total Valuation of Work
$ 1.00 to $ 2,000.00
$ 2,001.00 to $ 25,000.00

$22.00 for the first $1500.00 valua-
tion plus $1.00 for each additional
$100.00 valuation or fraction there-
of, to and including $2,000.00
valuation.

$ 50,001.00 to $100,000.00 $224.25 for the first $50,000.00
plus $3.50 for each additional
$1,000.00 or fraction thereof, to

plus $2.25 for each additional
$1,000.00 or fraction thereof, to
and including $.500,000.00
$500,001.00 and up $1,229.25 for the first $500,000.00
plus $1.50 for each additional
$1,000.00 or fraction thereof.
Additional Plan Checking made necessary by changes in plans
orincomplete plan submission ..................................... $ 20.00
per hour for the estimated time of checking revisions
Inspections to determine compliance of existing construction
• with applicable codes when not included in an active, valid build-
ingpermit........................................................ 20.00
Change of Occupancy Inspection ............................... 25.00
Permitrecord search ......................................... 10.00

Where additional inspections are made necessary due to work
not being ready at the time specified or due to work not corrected
after prior written correction notice, an additional fee of $20.00
may be required by the Building Official prior to reinspection.
Energy Compliance fee, for buildings subject to State of
California Energy Conservation Regulations. A surcharge of 5%
but not less than $20.00, to be included as a part of the building
permit fee.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption.
