A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA APPOINTING COLIN
LENNARD CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. Colin Lennard of the law firm of Burke, Williams
and Sorensen, is hereby appointed City Attorney of the City of West
Covina, commencing on May 1, 1978.
SECTION 2. The City Attorney shall be paid a retainer of
$1900 per month. Retainer services shall include one-half day per
week spent in the West Covina City Hall and attendance at regular
City Council and Planning Commission meetings, together with the
necessary office time required to support normal workload requirements.
SECTION 3. The appointment and the retainer fee arrangement
is intended to provide an interim solution for the balance of the
current fiscal year and it is anticipated that by that time a study
of the City Attorney needs of the City will be completed.
SECTION 4. The City.Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this resolution.
