A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA RELATING TO MEETING
• TIMES AND MEETING PLACES OF CITY BOARDS
AND COMMISSIONS.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The meetings of all City Boards and Commissions
created by ordinance or resolution shall be held commencing at
7:30 p.m. on the regularly scheduled meeting day. The meeting place
of all such boards and commissions shall be in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall located at 1444 W. Garvey Avenue in the City of
West Covina.
SECTION 2. Any meeting of a City board or commission held
in the City Council Chambers may be adjourned to a conference room
in the City Hall for the purpose of holding a study or review session.
SECTION 3. If the public necessity or convenience requires
the holding of a meeting of a board or commission at a place within
the City other than in the City Hall, the board or commission shall
obtain the permission of the City Council for the holding of the
meeting before the meeting is scheduled. The request shall be
directed to the City Manager, who will place the request on the
next City Council agenda for consideration. If time will not permit
City Council consideration of the request at a regular or adjourned
meeting, the City Manager may personally contact the members of the
• City Council and if a majority of the members of the Council approve,
the City Manager may consent to the holding of the meeting as
requested.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
