A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CITY ENGINEER TO PREPARE
AND FILE A REPORT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 4,_CHAPTER 1,
PART 2, "LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT OF 1972" BEING
DIVISION.I5,.STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE.STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, FOR THE INSTALLATION OF LANDSCAPING AND THE
MAINTENANCE THEREOF IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA,
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING ON JULY 1, 1978 AND ENDING
JUNE 30,.1979•
WEST COVINA WOODSIDE VILLAGE LANDSCAPING MAINTENANCE
DISTRICT N0. 4 (1978-1979).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina, California, proposes
to renew the assessment district pursuant to the "Landscaping and Lighting Act
of 1972", being Division 15, Part 2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that said Maintenance District shall maintain
certain landscaping previously installed in the area of the City commonly referred
• to as Woodside Village Landscaping Maintenance District No. 4, and as shown on
map entitled "Project Boundaries, Woodside Village Maintenance District No. 4"
in the City of West Covina, herein attached as Exhibit 1; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to maintain the landscaping and appurtenant facili-
ties within said maintenance area as shown -on map entitled "Tentative Maintenance
Areas, Woodside Village Maintenance District No.411, City of West Covina, herein
as attached Exhibit.2;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE.CITY,.OF WEST COVINA DOES -HEREBY
RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Engineer is hereby ordered to:prepare_.and file
a report in accordance with Article 4,. Chapter 1,• Part 2, "Landscaping and
Lighting Act of 197211, being Division 15, Part 2, Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California, for the maintenance of_said designated areas in said
District for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1978, and ending June 30, 1979,
all as set forth in this resolution.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of this resolution be presented to the
said City Engineer for his information and guidance.
SECTION 3• The City Clerk shall certi.fy,,to t.he.,passage;and adoption of
• this resolution;' shall cause the same to be entered among the original resolutions
of said City; and shall make a minute of t'h,e•passage`and-adoption thereof in the
records .of the proceedings of.the City Council of. said City_ in the minutes of
the meeting at which the same. is passed and adopted.
