A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
• THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DESIGNATING
THE FIRE CHIEF AS THE ISSUING AUTHORITY
FOR THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS RELATING
TO THE MANUFACTURE, POSSESSION, TRANS-
PORTATION, SALE, STORAGE OR USE OF
EXPLOSIVES.

The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 12007 of the Health and
Safety Code, the City Council hereby designates the Fire Chief
as the issuing authority for the City of West Covina for the
issuance of permits for the manufacture, possession, transpor-
tation, sale, storage or use of explosives.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and transmit a copy thereof to the State
Fire Marshall.
