A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL
SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 33076 ACCEPTING
AN AGREEMENT BY THE SUBDIVIDER AND SURETY
BONDS TO SECURE THE SAME.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by the
• owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract No.
'33076 which has been approved by -the Planning Commission and by the
City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting a pro-
posed agreement by the subdivider for the construction of a certain
improvements within or for said.subdivi.sion; and

WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by surety
for the faithful performance of the,,terms and .conditions of
agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of-the'City.of West
Covina does resolve as follows;
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of Tract No.
33076 submitted to this meeting be and the same is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered be and
the same is hereby accepted for public use'subject to any restri-
ction to be filed and recorded therewith;'and that the proper officers
of the City of West Covina be and they are hereby authorized and
instructed to approve said final map on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the subdivider
in the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the surety presented as security for the
faithful performance of the terms and conditions of said agreement
Canyon Crest Villas, a joint venture,,as principal and State Savings
and Loan Association as surety in the form of an irrevocable letter
of credit in.favor of the City of West Covina in the total sum of
Five Hundred Two Thousand,,Two Hundred Dollars ($502,200), be and
the same hereby is accepted. -
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
