RESOLUTION NO. 5665
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA ORDERING THE VACATION
OF A CERTAIN PORTION OF AN ACCESS ROAD.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West
Covina does hereby find, determine, and declare as follows:
(a) That on the 27th day of February, 1978, at a
regular meeting of said Council, Resolution No. 5645 was
duly adopted by a vote of said Council setting the time for
hearing on the proposed vacation of a certain portion of an
access road located within the City of West Covina:
(b) That said area proposed to be vacated is more
particularly described as follows:
A portion of that certain access road as des-
cribed in the deed to the City of West Covina,
recorded on April 30, 1971, as Document No.
3985 in Book D-5044, Page 1 of Official Records
on file in the office of the County Recorder of
the County of Los Angeles.
(c) That on the 27th day of March, 1978, at a
regular Council Meeting, the said City Council did hold a
public hearing to determine whether the said area above -
described should be vacated as an access road.
. SECTION 2. It hereby is found, determined, and
declared by the City Council of the City of West Covina,
after hearing the evidence adduced, that the abovedescribed
portions within the City of West Covina is not necessary for
present or prospective access road purposes and the general
welfare and convenience of the City of West Covina require
that the same be vacated. The said portions abovedescribed
hereby are vacated as an access road.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and cause the same to be recorded
with the office of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles
and to file all other necessary documents in order that this
vacation become effective.
