A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA REQUESTING AN ALLOCA-
TION OF COUNTY AID -TO -CITIES FUNDS FOR
THE RECONSTRUCTION OF NORTH VINCENT AVENUE.
• WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles has appropriated
certain monies to the City of West Covina as County Aid -to -Cities;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to expend the amount of
$3,500.00 of said funds accrued to the City for the reconstruction
of North Vincent Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The County of Los Angeles is hereby requested
to allocate $3,500.00 of the Aid -to -Cities funds apportioned to
the City for the reconstruction of North Vincent Avenue between
Workman Avenue and Badillo Street.
SECTION 2. After the allocation is approved by the
Board of Supervisors and funds are available, the County is re-
quested to send such allocated amount to the City. The City will
begin using the funds for the project according to the terms of
the allocation.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution and is directed to forward a certified copy of
this resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Commissioner for
processing.

meeting thereof held on the 27th day of March, 1978, by the following
