• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE
FINAL SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO.
3161g ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT BY THE
SUBDIVIDER AND SURETY BONDS TO SECURE
THE SAME.
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting
by the owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map
of Tract No. 31619 which has been approved by the Planning
Commission and by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting
a proposed agreement by the subdivider for the construction
of certain improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied
by surety bonds for the faithful performance of the terms
and conditions of said agreement;,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City 'of
West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of
Tract No. 31619 submitted to this meeting be and the same
. is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That the dedication therein offered be
and the same is hereby accepted for public use, excepting
the offer to grant Lots 124, 128, 131 and 134, subject to
any restriction to be filed and recorded therewith; and that
the proper officers of the City of West Covina be and they
are hereby authorized and instructed to approve said final
map on behalf of the City.
SECTION 3. That the proposed agreement by the
subdivider in the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
t SECTION 4. That the Surety Bonds Numbers 400 DR
4400/194, 400 DR 4400/19,5, 400 DR 4400/196 and 400 DR 4400/197
presented as security for the faithful performance of the
terms and conditions of said agreement with UMARK Inc., as
principal, and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company
as surety in the total sum of Three Hundred Sixty Five
Thousand One Hundred Ten and No/100 Dollars ($365,110.00),
be and the same hereby are accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to
the adoption of this resolution.
