. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA DECLARING ITS INTEN-
TION TO VACATE A CERTAIN PORTION OF AN
ACCESS ROAD.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West
Covina upon recommendation of the Planning Commission does
hereby declare its intention to vacate a certain portion of
an,access road, in the City of West Covina, County of Los
Angeles, State of California, as shown on a map or plan on
file in the office of the City Clerk to which reference is
made for further particulars, described as follows:
A portion of that certain access road as des-
cribed in the deed to the City of West Covina,
recorded on April 30, 1971, as Document No.
3985 in Book D-5044, Page 1 of Official Records
on file in the office of the County Recorder of
the County of Los Angeles.
SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of West
Covina does hereby elect to proceed to vacate the said
access road under the provisions of Part 3, Division 9 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California.
SECTION 3. The hour of 8:00 p.m., on Monday, the
27th day of March, 1978, is hereby fixed as the time and the
Council Chambers in the City Hall at 1444 West Garvey Avenue
South, West Covina, California, is hereby fixed as the place,
for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the
proposed vacation of said slope easement.
SECTION 4. Notices of access road vacation shall
be posted by the Street Superintendent in the manner prescribed
by Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published within fifteen (15) days of its adoption in one
regular issue of the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of
general circulation, printed, published, and circulated in
the City of West Covina.
