A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA APPOINTING
ELECTION OFFICERS AND DESIGNATING
POLLING PLACES FOR THE GENERAL MUNI-
CIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE 7th
DAY OF MARCH, 1978.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. For the purpose of holding the General Municipal
Election on the 7th day of March, 1978, there shall be and are
hereby established 39 voting precincts consisting of consolidations
of the regular election precincts in the City of West Covina estab-
lished for the holding of State and County elections as said regular
election precincts exist on the date of adoption of this resolution.
SECTION 2. The polling places for the voting precincts
established for the election shall be the places specified on Exhibit
"A" hereto and by this reference incorporated herein and the persons
named in Exhibit "A" being competent and qualified electors and
residents of the City of West Covina and of their respective voting
precincts are hereby appointed Officers of Election for their res-
pective voting precincts and they shall hold said election and
make return thereof in the manner provided by law.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
. of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution No. 5631
was duly adopted by the City Council of the City of West Covina at
a regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of January ,
1978, by the following vote of the Council, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Miller, Chappell, Browne, Tice, Shearer.
NOES: Councilmen: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen: None.
