A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DENYING
• UNCLASSIFIED USE PERMIT NO. 221
(Franchise Realty Interstate Corp.)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine
that there was filed with the Planning Commission the application
of Franchise Realty Interstate Corporation requesting the approval
of an Unclassified Use Permit to operate a drive -through restaurant
on property which is specifically described in Precise Plan of Design
application No. 693, Rev. 1; that hearings thereon were duly con-
ducted by the Planning Commission and the Planning Commission denied
the application for the Unclassified Use Permit; that the action
of the Planning Commission was appealed to the City Council for
hearing in connection with Precise Plan No. 684, Rev. 1, and the
City Council held a hearing thereon and proper and legal notice of
the hearing was duly given.
SECTION 2. The City Council hereby finds and determines
that the approval of the Unclassified -Use Permit No. 221 is contingent
upon the approval of Precise Plan of Design No. 684, Rev. 1.
Precise Plan of Design No. 684, Rev. 1, was rejected by the City
Council by Resolution No. 5621.
. SECTION 3. The application of Franchise Realty Interstate
Corporation for Unclassified Use Permit No. 22.1 is hereby denied
upon the basis of the findings contained in Section 2 hereof and
in Resolution No. 5621.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution No.5622 was

regular meeting thereof held on the 9th day of January, 1978, by
