OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING PERSONNEL
• RULE NO. VI. 2 (RESOLUTION NO. 1276) RELATING
TO ELIGIBILITY FOR PROMOTIONAL EXAMINATIONS.

The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION?1. Pursuant to the recommendation of the Personnel
Board, Section VI. 2 of the Personnel Rules (Resolution No. 1276) is
amended to read:
"-RULELVI..22 Eligibility for Promotional Examinations,,
Employees in the City service shall be
eligible to compete on a�promotional
basis in a promotional examination,
provided that they meet the requirements
of the class for which the examination
is to be held."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 12th day of December
1977.
