A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL11_0F THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL -:
SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 33900,.
ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT BY THE SUBDIVIDER
• AND.SURETY BONDS TO SECURE THE SAME..
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to this meeting by
the owner and subdivider thereof., _a final subdivision:map of
Tract No. 33900 which has been approved by�the:Planning Commission
and by. .the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS,.there has been submittej Fd_to-this meeting a
proposed agreement by -the subdivider -for the' construction .of
certain improvements within or for said.subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said-propo'sed agreement Is accompanied by
surety bonds-for.the faithful performance of the terms and
conditions.of-said agreement;-
-NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of. the City of West
Covina doe's resolve as follows: -
SECTION.l. That the final subdivision map of Tract
No. 33900 submitted -to this meeting -be -and the.. -same is hereby
approved."
SECTION 2. That the-dedicationEtherein"offered be
and the same is hereby accepted for -public. -use,- excep,t,ing the
offer to grant Lots'9.4, and-102, subject toll'any -restriction to
• be filed and recorded therewith;' and that the•proper officers of
the City.of West Covina be and.they-are hereby authorized and
instructed to approve:said final map on :behalf of -the City.
SECTION 3 That_the;proposed agreement by the
subdivider in !the.. -form submitted* to this mept-ing be _accepted.
SECTION 4.. That the Surety,..Bonds Numbers 400.DR
4400/182, 400 DR 4400/183, - 400 DR 4400/184,,1.t4 0 D ;-4400/185, and
400 DR 4400/186 presented as security for the faithful performance
of the terms•and.conditions of said agreement wi-th'Umark Inc., as
principal,. -arid St..,Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company as surety
in the*total.sum of :Six Hundred -Thirty -Seven Thousand, Five Hundred
Ninety and.No/100 Dollars ($637,590.00), be and the'same hereby
are accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City -Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution. ,
