RESOLUTION NO. 5584
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY;'OF WEST COVINA CERTIFYING THE
• RIGH,T-OF-WAY NECESSARY FOR PROJECT
NO. SP 75006-1, VINCENT AVENUE/GLENDORA
AVENUE, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE SAID CERTIFICATION
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina is desirous of
constructing Project No. SP 75006-1, Vincent Avenue/Glendora
Avenue,.with Federal Aid Urban funds, and
WHEREAS, the City of West Covina will be construct-
ing future public .works projects with Federal Aid Urban funds,
and
WHEREAS, Federal regulations require that any
rights -of -way needed for such projects be certified by the
local agency,;,and

WHEREAS, it is anticipated that it will be necessary
for the local;`'agency toacquire various rights -of -way from
time to time in connectionwith said projects,
NOW;';, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
West Covina does resolve as follows:
SEC,TION.1. The City Council of the City of West
• Covina does hereby authorize the -City Manager of the City of
West Covina to certify the right-of-way,for Project SP 75006-1,
Vincent Avenue/Glendora Avenue.
SEC,TION 2. The City Manager of the City of West
Covina is hereby granted a blanket authority to execute
right-of-way1certifications.for.Federal. Aid Urban projects
constructed within the City of West Covina.
SECTION 3. The City. Clerk of the City of West Covina
is hereby directed to forward a copy of this resolution to
the California Department of Transportation, and shall certify
to the adoption of .this resolution.
