A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OFI!WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
SECTION,VII OF RESOLUTION NO. 1277, APPROVING
THE REC,ASSIFICATION OF THE CLERK -STENOGRAPHER
POSITIO'IN THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT TO THE
CLASSIFICATION OF SECRETARY.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as f ollows.:
SECTION.1. Pursuant to.the recommendation.of the Personnel
Board, that Portion of Section VII of Resolution No. 1277 containing
the list of authorized positions and salary ranges is hereby amended
by amending the paragraph establishing the authorized positions in
the Maintenance Department as follows:
(a) Elimination of one ;(1) Clerk -Stenographer -position, and
(b) Addition of one (1) .;Secretary; position.
SECTION 2,, The reclassification,provided for herein shall -
be effective as of the first pay -period in November, 19.77.
SECTION3.,'The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption..
