TION OF INTENTION NO. 5510, APPROVING THE
FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL WEED AND RUBBISH ABATE-
MENT LISTj�.

WHEREAS, -the City Council of the City of West Covina adopted
Resolution of Intention No. 5510 on August 8, 1977, for the abate-
ment of weeds and rubbish on certain properties within the city;
and
WHEREAS,'beertain additional properties have been neglected
or abandoned as described in the First Supplemental Weed and
Rubbish Abatemen" List marked Exhibit "A" and attached hereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1 - The.First Supplemental Weed and Rubbish Abate-
ment list is hereby approved and added to the 1977-78 Weed and..
Rubbish Abatement Program.
SECTION 2 - The City Clerk is hereby instructed to mail a
"Notice to Destroy Weeds and Remove Rubbish and Refuse", substan-.
p;
tially in the form specified in Section-39566 of the.Government
Code, to all owners of said property at the time and manner speci-
fied in said Government Code.
SECTION 3 - The City Council will, at the time of its
regular meeting on October 24, 1977, at 8:00 P.M'. in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall of said city, hear and consider.objections
to the proposed removal of weeds, rubbish, and refuse.
The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution.
