A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF(,
WEST COVINA,.AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 5446'RELATING
TO THE COMPENSATION PAYABLE TO CERTAIN MANAGEMENT
POSITIONS (POLICE,COMMANDER, ADMINISTRATIVE ASSIS._-
TANT, AND ACTING FIRE CHIEF).
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION1. Section 3 of Resolution No. 5446 is hereby
amended by adding one (1) position of Police Commander at salary
range DHR-C.

SECTIONA2. Section 3 of Resolution No. 5446 is hereby
amended to fix the compensation of the Administrative Assistant
position in.the Finance Department at salary range DHR-D.

Admin..Assistant $1,400 ($11505) DHR-D ($1,125 - $2,050)
SECTION'3. Section 3 of Resolution No. 5446 is hereby
amended by the addition of the following footnote:
"In the absence of the Fire Chief and with the
City Manager's approval, an.Acting Fire Chief
may be appointed, and while -so -acting shall be
paid $200.00 a month in addition to the compen-
sation to which he is entitled to receive in
his regular position."
SECTION'4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution!i.
