A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF' WEST COVINA,, CALIFORNIA, CLARIFYING PRO_.
,VISIONS-QF'THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE
RELAT.ING,;,TO DEVELOPMENT IN,,HILLSIDE AREAS.. ;
WHEREAS, ,,the City .Council after a series of public ,hearings,
ANLI i did approve amendments to the,,Hillside Overlay regulations;'and.
WHEREAS, (said regulations' intent is that - development of the
'HilVlsid.e.areas. be done in an orderly, well -planned manner; and
WHEREAS accommodation of -traffic -is a..key element to order-
ly and well=planned,.development; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide guide.•lines for a•well-planned
circulation system; and'
:. WHEREAS, Section 10301•of the'West Covina Municipal Code
eTrovides that the City Council may adopt a resolution .of interpreta-
tion -.to clarify any -ambiguity or omission -that may exist in the Zoning
Ordinance, -
NOW, THEREFORE, the City,'Council of.the City of West.Covina•
does resolve as Iollows:
--SECTION 1. Development within the Hillside. -Overlay Zone of
the City shall'.implement the circulation system outlined in Exhibit .'.A:'
which is attached hereto and by this reference •i.ndbrporated? herein.
SECTION,2. The City Clerk shall certify'to.the adoption.of
this, resolution'.
