RESOLUTION NO. 5549
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
:CITY OF MST COVINA APPROVING THE FINAL
SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO. 32983, -
ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT BY THE SUBDIVIDER
AND .SURETY BONDS TO SECURE THE' SAME
WHEREAS; there has beensubmittedto this meeting
by the owner and subdivider thereof,•a final subdivision
map of,Tract No 32983 which has been approved by the
Planning Commission and.by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS', there has been submitted to this meeting
a proposed agreement by the subdivider for the construction
of certain improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement is accompanied by
surety bonds for -the faithful performance of the terms and
conditions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
West Covina does resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That.the final subdivision map of
Tract No. 32983'' submitted to this meeting be and the_same
is hereby approved.
SECTION 2. That•the dedication therein offered
be and the same is hereby accepted for public use, excepting
the offer to grant Lots 82 and 83, subject to any restriction -
to be filed and recorded therewith; and that the proper offi-
cers of the City of West Covina be. and they are hereby autho-
rized and instructed to approve said•final map on behalf of
the City.
SECTION 3.. That the proposed. agreement by the
subdivider in the. form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the Surety Bonds Numbers.400 DR
'4400/164, 400 DR 4400/165 and 400 DR 4400/166 presented as
security for the faithful performance of the terms and condi-
tions of said agreement with Umark Inc., as principal, and
St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company as surety in the
total sum of Six Hundred Fourteen.Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty
and No/100 Dollars ($614,750.00)., be and the same hereby are
accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
