RESOLUTION --NO. 5548
-A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF :THE
CITY OFWEST COVINA ORDERING.THE VACATION
OF A CERTAIN STORM DRAIN
WHEREAS,i; Tentative Tract Map No. 32339 has been...
approved`, and
WHEREAS -,,'upon construction.of said Tract No.. 32339
the storm drain will not be utilized, and
WHEREAS,!the storm drain located within said Tract
No. 32339.has been plugged and is no longer needed for storm
drain purposes:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City -Council .of the City of -West
Covina -does resolve as follows':
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Sections 1930 to.1934, in-
clusive, of 'the. Streets and Highways ,Code, the -City Council of
the City of -West Covina hereby finds and determines that the
following described storm drain easement has•be'en,.superseded by
relocation:
An.easembnt for storm drain purposes over that
portion:.of Parcel 4 of Record of Survey, in -the
City of West Covina,..County'of Los Angeles,.State
of California, -as per map filed in .Book 85, Pages
10-to 12i;inclusive, of Records of Surveys in the
office of the County Recorder.of':said County, with-
in.a strip of.land 10.00 feet in width the center -
'line of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the Northeasterly -line of
Amar Road as'shown on map of Tract No. 31095 re-
corded.in Book 799 pages 99 and .100 of Maps in the
Office of -said County Recorder, -distant Easterly
230.71 feet from .the Westerly -terminus of that
curve shown on -said Tract No. 31095.as concave
Southwesterly with a radius of 3.055 feet a length
of 390.09 feet and a central angle o.f 70 18' 58 a..
radial line to said -point bears.North 310 01' 39"
East; tlience'radial.to said curve North 310 01'.
39." East',.15.00 feet.
SECTION.2. That storm drain easement described in
Section.l hereof,ishereby summarily vacated and abandoned..
SECTION 3. The -City -Clerk shall certify -to the adoption
of -this resolution and shall cause a certified copy thereof to be
recorded in the .office of the County Recorder of said County.
