"CATION 'OF :AUTHORIZED POSITIONS IN THE BUILDING.'_
• DEPARTMENT•AND THE'OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES.'
The-City.Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION..l. Pursuant to. the recommendation -of the
Personnel Board, that portion of Section VII .of Resolution -
No.. 1277 .conta.ining .the list, of 'authorized positions and sa:la.ry
ranges is hereby •a.mended by amending . the paragraphs esta.blishi-rig
the -authorized' positions in the , following: offices:
(a.) Jn the Building Department:. .
'(1) Eliminating one- (1) Clerk Typist position, - and
-(2) Adding one (l).,Account Clerk, position.
(b) 'In the Office .of Emergency Services:
(1) Eliminating one (1) Clerk Stenographer position,'a.nd
'(2) Adding one (.1) Secre.tary -position.
SECTION 2 The respective reclassifications shall -be .
contingent uponr'each incumbent meeting a.11 .,requirements of the
• new• classification 'a,nd successfully completing a. qualifying
exa.minat.ion.
SECTION 3 The City Clerk shall`.certify to the adoption
of' 'this resolution.:
