A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA,!CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY
TO BE RAISED BY'TAXATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JULY 1,`',1977, FOR WEST COVINA MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 3
(SUMMERPLACE VILLAGE), AND FIXING RATES OF TAXES FOR SAID
• MAINTENANCE DISTRICT, AND LEVYING TAXES FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1977 FOR SAID MAINTENANCE DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City,of West Covina does resolve as
follows:
SECTI'ON1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by
taxation upon the ';'taxable property within West Covina,Maintenance District
No. 3 (Summerplace Village) for the current fiscal year beginning July 1,
1977 is hereby fixed as follows:.
For the�cost of maintai.n'ing and operating the open space, improve-
ments and facilities thereon within the West Covina Maintenance District
No. 3 (Summerplace Village).: $0.000
SECTION-2. For the purpose of raising the sums of money neces-
sary to be�raised",by taxation upon the taxable real property -within West
Covina Maintenance District No. 3 (Summerplace Village) as revenue to main-
tain and operate the open space, improvements and facilities within said
maintenance distri!!ct, the rate is hereby fixed and taxes are hereby levied
on all taxable real property in the said Maintenance District for the fiscal
year beginning July 1, 1977, in the number of cents upon One Hundred Dollars
of the assessed value.of said taxable real property as,assessed by the County
Assessor and equalized by the Assessment Appeals Board of the County,of Los
Angeles, and with°respect to certain property as assessed by the State Board
of Equalization and equalized by,said Board as follows:

entire district $955,575
Tax Rate $0.00 per hundred dollars
No separate tax is being levied upon the taxable property within
any zone in West Covina Maintenance District No. 3 (Summerplace Village) for
the fiscal year-be;ginning July 1, 1977, and no money is being raised to
finance special services within any such -zone.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and the same shall be in full force -and effect immediately upon
adoption. The -said Clerk shall immediately after the adoption of this
Resolution cause a' certified copy thereof to be filed with the Auditor -
Controller of the County of Los Angeles. In accordance with Section 36936.1
of the Government Code, the City Clerk shall cause publication of this
Resolution in the same manner and within the same time as ordinances are
required to be published.
