A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY
NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1977, FOR THE WEST COVINA
SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT, AND FIXING RATES OF
• TAXES AND';', LEVYING TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGIN-
NING JULY1,,1977, FOR SAID SEWER MAINTENANCE DISTRICT.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve.
as follows:
SECTION 1. The amount of money necessary to be raised by
taxation upon the taxable property -within the West Covina Sewer Maintenance
District for the current fiscal year beginning July 1, 1977, is hereby
fixed as follows:
For the cost of maintaining and operating the improvements within.
the West Covina Sewer Maintenance District: $95,472
SECTION 2. For the purpose -of raising the sums of money neces-
sa ry to be raised by taxation upon the taxable property within the West
Covina Sewer Maintenance District as revenue to maintain and operate the
improvements within said sewer maintenance district, the rate is hereby
fixed and taxes are hereby levied on all taxable property in the said
West Covina Sewer Maintenance District for the fiscal year beginning
July 1, 1977, in the number of cents upon'One Hundred Dollars of the
assessed value of said taxable property•as assessed by the County Assessor
and equalized by the Assessment Appeals Board of the County of Los Angeles,
and with respect to certain property as assessed by the State Board of
Equalization and equalized by -said Board as follows:
• Assessed Value $238,679,712
Tax Rate: $0.0400 per hundred dollars
SECTION3. The City Clerk shall certify to the'adoption-of
this Resolution and the,same shall be in full force and effect immedi-
atelyeupontadoption. The said Clerk shall immediately after the adoption
of this Resolution',cause a certified copy thereof to be filed with the
Auditor -Controller -of the County,of.Los Angeles. In,accordance with
Section 36936.1 of the Government Code, the City Clerk shall cause publi-
cation•of this Resolution in the same manner and within the -same time as
ordinances are required to be published.
