A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE AMOUNT OF MONEY NECESSARY
TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING
JULY 1, 1977.
The City Council of the City,of West Covina does resolve as
• follows:
SECTION 1;. The amount of money -necessary to be raised by taxation
upon the taxable•property,within the City'as a revenue to carryon the various
departments of such City for the current fiscal year beginning July 1, 1977,
and to pay the bonded -or -other indebtedness of such City, is hereby fixed as
follows:
For the General Fundfor the carrying on -of
the various departments ..................... $2,946,795
For the Park Fund .............................. 476,335
(Costs of park and recreational facilities)
For Civil Defense and Disaster Preparedness.... 35,562
TOTAL $3,458,692
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and the same shall be in full force and effect immediately upon
adoption. The City'Clerk shall immediately after.the adoption of this
Resolution cause a certified copy thereof to be filed with -the Auditor -
Controller of the Gounty,of Los Angeles. In accordance with Section 36936.1
of the Government Code, the City Clerk shall cause publication of this
Resolution in the same manner and within the same time as ordinances are
required to beypublished.
