A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WEST�aCOVINA APPROVING THE FINAL SUBDIVISION -
MAP OF TRACT NO. 28958, ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT
•; BY THE -SUBDIVIDER AND SURETY.BONDS TO'SECURE.THE
SAME
WHEREAS," there has been submitted to this meeting-by'the
owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of Tract No.
28958 which has been approved by the Planning -Commission -and by
the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS; there has been -submitted to.this meeting a pro-
posed agreement by -the subdivider for -the construction of certain.
improvements within or for.said'.subdivision; and.
WHEREAS;' said proposed agreement is.accompanied by surety
bonds for the faithful -performance of the terms and conditions of
said agreement; .I
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina.does resolve as follows:

SECTION�i l.' That -the final -subdivision map of Tract No.
28958 submitted--to-this meeting be and the same is -hereby approved.
SECTIONj2,. That the dedication therein.offered be and
the same is hereby accepted for -`public use,'excepting the offer to
grant Lot 48, subject. -to any restriction to be filed and recorded
therewith; and that the proper officers of -the -City -of West Covina
• be and. they are hereby authorized and instructed -to approve said
final map on- behalf 'of. -the City.
SECTION3. That the proposed agreement by the subdivider
in the form,subm-tted to*this meeting be accepted.
SECTIONi4. That the Surety Bonds numbers 400 DR 4400/146,
400 DR 4400/161,;�and 40.0-DR.4400/162 presented as security for the
faithful performance of the terms and conditions of -said agreement
with Umark.Inc. !as.principal, and St. :Paul Fire and Marine Insurance
Company as surety and a cash deposit $570.-00, in the total sum of
Three Hundred Sixty Eight Thousand, -Seven Hundred Seventy and
no/100 Dollars ($368,770.00), be and the same hereby are accepted.
SECTION.5. That the City'Cle'rk shall certify to the
adoption of thin resolution.
