SUBDIVISION MAP OF TRACT NO_. 30231,
ACCEPTING AN AGREEMENT BY THE SUBDIVIDER
AND SURETY 'BONDS'- TO SECURE -THE SAME..
WHEREAS, there has been.submitted.to this meeting by
the owner and subdivider thereof, a final subdivision map of
Tract No. 30231.which has been approved by the Planning Commis:`
sion and by the City Engineer; and
WHEREAS',.there has been submitted to this meeting a
proposed agreement by the subdivider for the construction of
certain -improvements within or for said subdivision; and
WHEREAS, said proposed agreement.is accompanied by
surety bonds for the faithful performance of the terms and
conditions of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West
Covina does -resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. That the final subdivision map of Tract
No. 30231 submitted to.tthis meeting be -a-ri_d�the�,same is hereby
approved.
SECTION 2._ That the dedication therein offered b'd and
the same is hereby accepted for public -use,' excepting the offer
to grant Lots 49 and 50, subject to any restriction to be filed
and recorded therewith; and that the proper -,,.officers of the. City
of West Covina be and they are hereby authorized.and instructed
.to approve said final map on behalf.of the City .-
SECTION.3. That the proposed agreement by the sub-
divider•in the form submitted to this meeting be accepted.
SECTION 4. That the Surety Bonds Numbers 400 DR 4400/
155, 400 DR 4�400/156 and 400 DR 4400/160 presented as security
for the faithful performance of the terms and conditions of said
agreement with Umark Inc..,. as principal and'St. Paul Fire and
Marine Insurance Company as surety in the total.sum of Three
Hundred Nine Thousand One Hundred and No/100 Dollars (,$309,100.00),
be and the'same hereby are accepted.
SECTION 5. That the City Clerk..s_hal-1 certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
