RESOLUTION NO. 5487
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA ESTABLISHING.
THE FEES REQUIRED TO BE PAID IN
CONNECTION WITH THE LICENSING OF DOGS
AND IN CONNECTION WITH POUND SERVICES.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does resolve
as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant tor`�the authority contained in Section
4307.2 of the West Covina Municipal Code, the following fees for
the licensing of dogs and for pound services are hereby fixed and
established.
a. A fee shall be paid for each dog licensed in
advance at the time of the issuance for the_lcen"se year or any .
fraction thereof in the amount of $10.00. If a certificate is
presented from a licensed veterinarian that the dog has been spayed
or neutered, the license fee shall be $5.00.
b. The fee for boarding any animal shall be $2.00
per day.
C. The fee for impounding any animal shall be
$5.00 for the first offense, $10.00 for the.second offense, and
$15.00 for'each subsequent offense.
8ECTION!2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution.
