A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA ACCEPTING GRANT DEED
EXECUTED BY EGIDIO PUPPI AND MARY PUPPI,
AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
• The City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The interest conveyed by that certain
instrument executed by Egidio Puppi and Mary Puppi, under
a date of May 25, 1977, granting to the City of West Covina
the property or interest therein particularly described for
sewer purposes, is -hereby accepted. Said property is generally
described as:
That portion of the 196.64 acre tract of land in
the Rancho La Puente allotted to Robert P. Rowland
in Partition Suit,; Case 5800, Superior Court in
the County of Los Angeles, State of California des-
cribed as a whole as.a strip of land, 10 feet in
width lying 5 feet on each side of the following
described centerline:
Beginning at the intersection of the center line
of Nogales Street, 40 feet wide, as shown on Map.
of Tract 27579, as a map recorded in Book 736,
Pages 92 and 93, of Maps in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, with a line which is
parallel with and 393.31 feet northerly, measured at
• right angles, from the center line of Valley Boule-
vard, as shown on map of said Tract No. 27579; thence
along said parallel line, North 790 00' 00" West
305.00 feet.
EXCEPT therefrom that portion of said strip of land
lying easterly of the westerly line of Nogales Street.
Subject to covenants, conditions, restrictions, res-
ervations and easements of record.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a certificate of acceptance in substantially
the form prescribed by Section 27281 of the Government Code and
to cause the said Instrument and said certificate to be filed
for record in the office of the County Recorder of the County
of Los Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk -shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
