A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA AUTHORIZING THE EXE-
CUTION OF A CORPORATION QUITCLAIM DEED
AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION THEREOF.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does
resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of West
Covina does hereby find and determine that
A portion of lot 119 in the E. J. Baldwin 4th subdivision
of the Rancho La Puente as shown on map recorded in
Book 8 Page 186 of maps in the office of Los Angeles
County Recorder
Beginning at a point in the northeasterly line of.said
lot 119, distant thereon south 48 degrees 34 minutes
45 seconds east 312.42 feet from the intersection of
the northeasterly line of said lot with the southeast-
erly line of Orange Avenue; thence south 48 degrees 34
minutes 45 seconds east 58.80 feet thence south 76
degrees 40 minutes 45 seconds west 8.00 feet; thence
north 48 degrees 34 minutes 45 seconds west 58.80 feet;
thence north 76 degrees 40 minutes 45 seconds east
8.00 feet to the place of beginning.
is no longer needed for the public purposes for which it was
acquired or for any -other public purpose; that the public con-
venience and necessity require that the -same be quitclaimed to
Battaglia Development Company.
SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and instructed to execute in the name of the City of
West Covina a Quitclaim Deed conveying all right, title and
interest of the City of West Covina in and to said real property
to Battaglia Development Company, and cause the said Quitclaim
Deed and a certified copy of this resolution-to.be filed for
record in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Los
Angeles.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution.
